Survey Comments
- Too procedural, would like more strategies for arts and relationships
- Excellent! She was well prepared and took the session through its paces just perfectly. Loved how she said at the beginning that since everything was on the slides, just sit back and listen. I only opened my laptop once or twice to type a note it. Michelle certainly has set the bar high for the rest of the sessions!
- What a great topic. The entire export to code and building a custom module from this was one of those O Wow moments that changed the way I thought about building in Drupal. There really needs to be a modules building for non coders track, that takes cck and views and exporting them to build a module. Tie the pieces together. A lot of us live in cck and views but are not coders and therefor assume you can't build a module, this session opened a door to hey we could build a modules. Mike Hathaway
- A well-structured presentation that, while not assuming detailed knowledge of the attendees also did not over-simplify. This class alone was worth the price of admission.
- Michelle rocks!
- great session, very clear and easy to follow.
- Wonderful session...I can't wait to get the slides and start digging deeper into this.
- Thank you for providing information in an easy-to-understand way!
- The depth of the speaker's knowledge is impressive. The clear, step-by-step slides are very helpful. Thank you!
- Very specific. Lots of resources for follow-up. Thanks!
- Excellent!
- FANTASTIC. DrupalCon needs more presenters like she.
- All great information but delivered so fast and covered so much that it was incomprehensible. All I could think was that the slides would be invaluable. I know you said to let it wash over you, but it was like a thundering waterfall. Half the information presented more slowly would have made a much better presentation.
- Presentation felt a little dry but was to the point and I got a lot out of it.
- Michelle was a great presenter. Her delivery was clear, well paced and easy to follow. This session stretched me, but not too far that I was lost.
- This presentation was the best of all the presentations I attended today. She was very well prepared, her slides were very informative and clear. She was excellent. 5 star
- The whole thing was just slide shows. It could of been a little better if a run live demo was used. Some of the code in the slide shows was breezed over.
- Lots of screen shots, and other slides that explained what was covered. Would have been nice to add some step by step lists of instructions, but over all very good. Having link to the slides on her web site should be great.
- she announced the location of the slides and supporting downloads at the beginning of her presentation. this made a huge difference in note-taking and ability to really listen to what presenter was discussing. None of the other sessions I attended did that, to their detriment. Overall she was the best presenter of the sessions I attended.
- Excellent presentation! Great info and delivered expertly. Well done! :) I wish I had this around when I was first learning to export views some months ago. Best explanation I have seen. :)
- Excellent presentation. It was pretty fast-paced, so I appreciate the "put your pencils down" approach, with the download link. I had a hard time deciding between a "4" and "5" rating for the visual aids because I love live demos, but I understand the drawbacks to those as well. I doubt as much material could have been covered with a live demo. So, a "5" overall. Nicely done.

For me this was the best-delivered and most useful presentation of the conference. Like others have said, it went FAST - but every example was clear, the slides were easy to read and follow along with, and miche's voice carried as well in the room as on the recording. To see how well-designed this talk really is, try running the slides with the sound off. You won't have any trouble following along anyway because of how well annotated everything is. An amazingly well-done, professional presentation.
